Concentrating mainly on fluoroplastics, we develop, produce, and market high-performance polymer manufactured goods. Founded in 1963 exclusively as a fluoropolymer-processing maker, through the years we have turned out a number of products to the public. Currently, as a general maker of fluoroplastic goods, we continue our services domestically while continuously expanding the field of our international business with Asia at the center.
With our fluoroplastic products ranging from adhesive tapes and sheet and tubing materials to belts and construction use membrane; a wide variety of industry fields are targeted such as semi-conductors, communications, automobiles, food products, chemistry, and construction.
Our factories are located on the island of Kyushu and in the Kanto region. While the Kanto plant (Utsunomia) specializes in tubing, hose and injection molding products, the Kyushu factory handles the rest of our manufacturing. Four domestic branch offices (Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka), and one foreign office (Shanghai residence office) serve as our management base, operating sales through firms and agencies across the country. With market development as a central focus, we research user needs and process them into appropriate solutions through rapid feedback from our technologies department. Through accurate and quick marketplace assessment we continue to pioneer new product development and uses.

We have extended our core technique of fluoroplastic coatings for industrial fabric into applications using other polymers to develop new uses and technologies.
Recently, efforts have been made towards advancement of silicon coatings. A silicon polymer coating adds heat resistance, ease of removal, and low frictional characteristics to fiber materials such as nylon, glass, and polyester: creating industrial textiles with high functionality. Besides our production system for automobile-use side curtain airbags, original industrial-use fabrics are also being developed.
A silicon coating to side curtain airbags requires a thin, uniform, and pinhole-less application. Particularly with the OPW model, from the base cloth double-layer construction to the implementation of the required specifications, a high level of skill and attention to detail are of the utmost import. With high performance silicon coating, Our company is contributing to a higher level of automobile safety.
*ISO/TS16949 is a sector standard in the automobile industry requiring an even higher level of QMS construction than ISO-9001. To improve quality performance and achieve greater customer satisfaction, we are utilizing the FMEA technique used in accordance with TS16949 (breakdown mode and effect analysis).
Finished in February of 2007, shown here is our factory specializing in air bag silicon coating.

Our environmentally friendly plastics such as biodegradable plastic and biomass-plastic manufactured products are developed and marketed as the brand “Amity”. Work on biodegradable plastic began more than 20 years ago, and over the years we have developed many products with various uses such as industrial materials for agriculture, forestry and water resources, textiles, and construction; as well as sports uses and daily necessities. Through endless trial and error we have tirelessly pursued better practical applications. The experience and know-how we have gained provides for a reliable backbone to our continuing product development.
Among a variety of development processes, we are particularly proud of our film-related advancements put to use in composting bags which we supply throughout the country autonomously. The adoption of these bags for actual trash collection use at the Aichi Expo site was a source of pride and an affirmation of the high level of our processing and actual production technique.
Microorganisms in the natural environment work through water and carbon dioxide to break down this material. Even in the case of incineration, dioxins or harmful gasses are not released.
Our biodegradable plastics have received the “Green Plastics” seal of approval.
“Green Plastics” mark
Products recognized to meet the requirements of the JBPA standards (Japan Bio-Plastics Association) are granted the “Green Plastics” seal of approval.
The raw material for this plastic comes from corn or other such plant-derived resources (biomass). Any carbon dioxide gas released from biomass plastic is only that which the plants originally drew from the atmosphere in photosynthesis, and is not contributing to the increase of carbon dioxide gasses causing global warming.
Our biomass plastics have received the “Biomass mark” seal of approval.
“Biomass mark”
The “Biomass mark” is awarded to biomass products that meet the qualifications of the Japan Organic Resources Association.
