picture of skytopSkytop” is made from fluoroplastic PTFE- coated glass fiber B yarn fabric. The strength of B yarn surpasses that of steel and has many unique characteristics. These qualities include heat resistance in temperatures up to 700 to 800℃, and it is not effected by low temperatures or ultra-violet rays. To this strong base material add the heat resistance, climate endurance, anti-adhesive tendencies and water repellency of fluoroplastic. The composite result is “Skytop”, a highly functional construction material.

Characteristics

Non-flammable
Each material having non-flammable traits, the composite of fluoroplastic PTFE and B yarn cloth makes Skytop a construction material with fully sufficient non-flammability.


Toughness
In general, the smaller the diameter of the fiber the stronger the tensile strength of the general surface area. Skytop makes use of B yarn, the finest glass fiber in the world. Accordingly, this makes for an extraordinarily strong membrane material.

Light permeability
The transparency of membrane allows passage of natural light sufficient for the cultivation of plants. The naturally spread light makes for a soft atmosphere with few shadows. Also available in shade type, with proper use expect a range of results.

Heat related traits
As Skytop reflects the vast majority of the sun’s energy, it is possible to control heat conduction into the building. In using the interior material Skytop for double membrane construction, the efficiency of interior climate control can be increased.
